Virtual Private Servers and Dedicated servers have large storage capabilities. Users can configure local or FTP backups in DirectAdmin and WHM, or pay for remote backups.
Our backup service is an automated subscription service with which you can perform (daily) FTP backups of DirectAdmin or c-Panel user accounts of your Virtual Private Server or Dedicated Server. Its affordable, and provides peace of mind.
How does it work?
Backups are stored on separate systems in the same datacenter as your Virtual Private Server or Dedicated Server. The space required to store the backups is not subtracted from your storage space.
The FTP backup server does not automatically copy your data, however you can automate the transfer with a script, with DirectAdmin or C-Panel FTP backup functionality, or by using commands such as ncftpput. Data transfers can be made from your virtual private server or dedicated server. Only the main IP address of your server can connect to your backup server. In case you are in the posession of a fixed IP address and you would like to get access from this IP, please contact VpsCity support.
We recommend using an FTP client such as NcFTP to connect to your backup account.
